The problem

Growth can be a great thing. Especially if you're Treasury Wine Estates (TWE); one of the world's largest wine companies with a portfolio of 70+ leading brands and counting (Penfolds, Wolf Blass and Fifth Leg to name a few).

Over seven weeks, we paired our smarts with TWE’s sophisticated palate to define an ecosystem strategy and solutions to withstand the test of time. 

Like a great Cab Sav, the CMS solution needed to be multifaceted. Flexible and accessible for internal marketers and contractors, yet secure. It needed to tap into the company's intel and targeting smarts, while offering mobile-friendly experiences, instantly.

Like a fine wine, smart website ecosystems are designed to age well. With a solution in sight, we helped Treasury Wines co-design their future state including a high-level strategy to get there.

FAIR WORK COMMISSION

The Fair Work Commission supports productive workplace relations. They set the national minimum wage and when there’s uncertainty or conflict in the workplace, they act as a referee. They create a level playing field for workers and businesses, helping to settle disagreements and disputes for everyone. 

The Commission’s audience is, technically, all of us. From unions to industry groups and individuals across the country, the reach of the Commission is far and wide. 

The Fair Work Commission needed a human touch. Luckily, we’re as human as they come. 

The Fair Work Commission’s website was originally developed in 2009 – and several major things have happened since then.

The new website was designed to help users see the Fair Work Commission as a service. Interestingly, it has helped the Commission develop a better view of who they serve on a day-to-day basis.

DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE, TRANSPORT, REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNICATION AND THE ARTS

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (DITRDCA) connects and enriches Australian communities and regions. 

We conducted six workshops with 46 stakeholders across 14 business divisions. These workshops revealed insights and pain points with the existing experience, as well as a wish list of features and functionality users desired in their new digital workspace. 

DITRDCA had already purchased a solution for their new intranet, but they needed help to implement it. Luckily, we’re experts when it comes to LiveTiles and its capability in SharePoint intranets

The new digital workspace was created to promote inclusivity for all within DITRDCA’s workforce. Connecting humans starts with connecting to your own.

From dine-in to take-out. Window shopping to Click and Collect. The global pandemic has forced plenty of businesses to pivot online, making workplace communications no exception.

To meet their 2024 goal, LiveTiles partnered with Hide and Seek to optimise their user-experience, uncover points of difference, and plot a course towards EX glory.

 We cast our research net far and wide to understand the usability issues and experiences of a distributed workforce.

With the discovery phase behind them, LiveTiles had a better understanding of the EX landscape and a set of actionable milestones ahead. It was clear that their users, not simply their tech, were key to achieving their aspirations.

LiveTiles set their sights on being employee experience world leaders by 2024 - we set them on a course for discovery.

AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATION AND MEDIA AUTHORITY

Day-in, day-out, the folks at the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) access an intranet for resources like licensing agreements all the way leave forms.

Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of this project, we followed the Digital Transformation Agency’s Service Design and delivery process to develop a workspace that directly addressed the actual needs of ACMA users.

We took the top five prioritised services and codesigned solutions to meet expressed user-needs.

Refreshing the ACMA’s intranet restored trust in the resource and brought new life to documents that had long been unsurfaced.

DEPARTMENT OF HOME AFFAIRS

Living, working and adventuring abroad is one of our nation's favourite pastimes. 

We reimagined the website ecosystem from the perspective of users from all over the world. This meant taking a machete to unused pages, around 6,000 of them, banishing duplicates and broken links.

Because the project was rescoped from one site to many, we needed a secure solution that could be adapted across the Department’s portfolio. 

Besides delivering – not one, but three – websites within the time allocated, we improved the task success rate by 40%. Essentially, changing lives for the better.

We were initially engaged to reimagine the Decisively interface and provide a roadmap to first release.
